This is my first blog post ever. I wanted my post to be perfect so I spent a lot of time thinking about it, writing it, revising it. Then I thought”I will never get started if I don’t do it now”.
So, I am starting with 2 basic omelette recipes that I learned from my mom when I was a kid.
Omelette |
Serves:1
Cooking time:5 min
Ingredients:
1 egg(at room temp for fluffy omelette)
1 tbsp milk
Salt to taste
Red chilli powder or paprika, to taste
Procedure:
1.Crack an egg in to a bowl, add milk whisk it lightly for a min(milk helps to get fluffy omelette).
2.Heat a round nonstick pan over medium heat. add 1 tsp oil.
3.pour egg mixture in to the pan when oil is hot.
4.Leave it for 2 mins.sprinkle salt and red chilli powder turn for another min .
5.Gently transfer it to plate.
Sometimes I like to use butter instead of oil , pepper instead of red chilli powder.I learned different versions of omelette.will post soon.
