Pan Roasted Fresh Garbanzo beans(Senagalu)


A healthy snack.I remember my mom roasting them and serving them to us while watching TV.We used to enjoy popping them and eating tasty garbanzos hiding inside the shell. What a healthy way of snacking.
Roasted Garbanzo Beans
Ingredients
Raw Garbanzo pods(do not shell the beans)
Raw Garbanzo Beans
Method:
Take garbanzo pods in a pan. Roast on medium flame till they turn light brown in color. Do not burn. They should turn into crispy pods. Takes 8-10 minutes. That’s it. They are ready.
